Gore & Grimes Solicitors have appointed Eoin Cunneen as a Partner in its Litigation and Dispute Resolution team. The firm has also welcomed Sara Hantash to its Corporate team.
Eoin brings over 25 years of experience and joins the firm with a practice built across some of the most complex and high value disputes in the Irish market. His expertise spans complex multi-jurisdictional disputes; shareholder disputes; white collar crime defence; tax litigation; regulatory investigations and prosecutions; aviation related disputes; private client disputes; professional indemnity and judicial review; and contentious procurement, banking, financial services, construction and insolvency.
His arrival deepens the firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution bench at a time of growing client demand for senior dispute resolution expertise across regulated sectors. He has been consistently recommended by international legal ratings agencies for Litigation and Dispute Resolution.
Commenting on the appointment, Brian O’Neill, Managing Partner of Gore & Grimes Solicitors, said: “Eoin’s arrival is a testimony to the ambition and success of our very strong Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice headed by Liam Collins. Eoin reflects the calibre of senior practitioners we want at the heart of the firm, providing strategic advice and commercial solutions for our clients. He is widely regarded as one of the most respected litigators of his generation in Ireland. Together with Sara’s appointment to our Corporate team, we are continuing to grow those areas in response to our clients’ demands.”
Eoin Cunneen added: “Gore & Grimes has built a strong reputation for the breadth and quality of its disputes work and it is a firm with real ambition. I am delighted to be joining at such an exciting time for the firm and looking forward to contributing to the continued growth and excellent service offering of the Litigation and Dispute Resolution department.”
Sara Hantash joins the Corporate team having qualified as a solicitor earlier this year. Her early experience covers M&A transactions and general commercial matters, and she also brings additional experience from the Court of Justice of the European Union, an unusual and valuable perspective for a newly qualified corporate solicitor working with internationally active clients.
