Senior Legal Secretary – Real Estate (Conveyancing)

Location: Three Haddington Buildings, Percy Place, Dublin 4
Gore & Grimes Solicitors LLP is seeking an experienced Senior Legal Secretary to join our busy and dynamic Real Estate team. The Role:
As a key member of our Real Estate team, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing emails and instructions from fee earners efficiently
- Scanning incoming post and uploading documents to relevant case management files and title bundles
- Prioritising and managing dictations using Dikatmen and the Real Estate folder
- Typing and amending draft letters and legal documentation (Contracts for Sale, Deeds, Transfers, Leases, Side Letters, Declarations, etc.) for fee earner review
- Drafting responses to Objections, Requisitions on Title, and Pre-Contractual Enquiries
- Handling incoming telephone calls for fee earners, including logging detailed notes where necessary
- Scheduling title deeds and arranging secure off-site storage
- Scanning and preparing bundles of documents (e.g., copy title packs, closing documents)
- Recording Letters of Undertaking received and issued
- Organising swearing of documents with a Commissioner for Oaths or Practising Solicitor
- Verifying and recording bank account details of third parties
About You:
We are looking for a candidate who will bring skill, energy and commitment to the role. The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 4 years’ conveyancing/property experience in a similar environment
- Strong working knowledge of a case management system (experience with Partner for Windows an advantage)
- Excellent prioritisation skills and strong attention to detail
- Highly developed drafting, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong IT skills including proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook
- Excellent organisational skills and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Remuneration:
Salary will be commensurate with experience and reflects the seniority of the role.
