Simon is a solicitor in the firm’s Corporate and Banking department. Simon graduated from University College Dublin with a First Class Honours degree in Civil Law (Bachelor of Civil Law (International)) in 2007. He qualified as a solicitor in 2011 and trained and practiced in one of Ireland’s largest law firms in their Corporate Banking group. Simon specialises in the areas of property and development finance, general secured and unsecured lending, acquisition and leveraged finance and debt re-structuring advising Irish and international financial institutions, non-bank lenders, Irish individual and corporate borrowers and international corporate groups borrowing through Irish subsidiaries.
Simon also practiced in one of Australia’s largest law firms as an associate in their Banking and Finance group where he gained experience advising lenders and borrowers on a wide variety of financing transactions, including resource finance, project finance, corporate finance, acquisition and asset finance and property finance.
Simon has a strong track record with a focus on transactional work (both financing and corporate).
