Alan is a solicitor in our Family Law Department.
He qualified as a solicitor in 2005. He has wide experience in all areas of family law and in the negotiation and resolution of agreements in respect of the financial, property and child care issues arising on the breakdown of marital and non-marital relationships.
He has represented clients in judicial separation and divorce proceedings both in the Circuit and High Court and has extensive experience in dealing with the legal, financial and taxation implications of marital breakdown.
He also advises on the range of issues involving children, cohabitants and civil partners, the recognition of foreign divorces, as well as District Court applications involving access, maintenance and domestic violence.
Alan is a member of the Editorial Board of the Family Lawyer’s Journal and a former chair of the Communications Committee and member of the Executive Committee of the Irish Family Lawyers’ Association. He has contributed articles to journals and written several on-line lectures in the area of family law.
